SGP Media Table

Premium spatial UX and engaging information discovery via interactive media table. Designed and built for SGP Schneider Geiwitz in Ulm.
For the renowned firm SGP Schneider Geiwitz in Ulm, muse case designed and implemented a bespoke media installation that makes the company’s 40-year history and interdisciplinary portfolio tangible. The goal was to translate complex information and core corporate values into an intuitive, immersive experience. In close coordination with the client, we developed a UX concept that bridges the gap between traditional premium corporate design and modern technological innovation. The installation serves not only as a source of information but as a central element of brand communication in the physical space, inviting visitors and clients alike to explore.
Seamlessly connecting haptic interaction and digital content.

Technically, the solution is based on the Interactive Scape framework and utilizes the TUIO protocol for precise object recognition. The implementation was carried out using React, ensuring high-performance and fluid rendering of content. A standout feature is the interaction via physical pucks and other haptic elements placed on the table to trigger specific content. Users can dive deep into the corporate presentation through multitouch gestures, swiping, and tapping. The software was optimized to allow seamless interaction between the media table and a complementary wall-mounted screen, significantly enhancing the visual presence of information within the room.

Intuitive knowledge transfer through the fusion of space, object, and interface.

The value of this installation lies in its modern and playful presentation of company locations, corporate history, site-specific information, and staff. This engaging yet high-end approach ensures content is communicated effectively while highlighting the innovative strength of SGP Schneider Geiwitz. muse case supported the project throughout its entire lifecycle—from the initial concept and detailed UX design to final software production. The result is a validated system that serves as an interactive showcase for the company, demonstrating how corporate values can be presented in a contemporary way using forward-thinking technologies like multi-touch tables and object recognition.
